Hi, friends! I'm new guy here, but not new in PRS ;) Over than 5 years I'm fan of this beautiful guitars), i wrote many articles and reviews. I had over 100 USA made PRS, and now I have over 20 beauties in my collection =) And 2 are my favourite PRS - both are Custom 22 (Artist and Wood Library), i'll write about them later... Some for trade, some for sale .... but NOT this)) First - Man, and second - woman.

1) 2009 PRS Custom 22 Artist One-Piece Top Charcloal Burst

It's MAN )) He has African Ebony fingerboard and i bought him with upgraded boutique pickups - Motor City Extreme. He screams like devil, I'm using it with my groove metal band on concerts and studio. Really cool high mid, attack, guitar for hi-gain music. I like this guitar, owned 4 years already.

2) 2013 PRS Custom 22 Wood Library Faded Blue Jean Brazilian

She's a woman) Both guitars are Custom 22 with stoptail - but SOOOO different!!! She has 57/08 in the neck and 59/09 in the bridge. I had many PRS will ALL sets of pickups, but 59/09 - really best choice for bridge, like 57/08 for neck. 57/08 gives me true vintage crystal clean sound, while 59/09 is screaming with modern sound. She has also brazilian rosewood fretboard and ALL Indian Rosewoon Neck. Really for my 5-years experience, i think that the main things in guitar are pickups and neck! Body, etc - after that. Rosewood neck gives me "velvet" sound with vintage tone, I'm playing old-school rock with my another band - like Guns N' Roses - and it's really sounds much better than my 1977 Gibson Les Paul Standard and all my Gibsons together. I wish to post all prs i had - but i don't know , can i do it or no here...? I have Private Stock and many other PRS (DGT Wood Library, Artist V, SC-J), but I'm lovin' only my both Custom 22 =)
What is your favourite PRS? What specs, color, pickups, wood are better for You?
It will be interesting to change our experience here ;) tnx

P.S. Little bit sex...))))

This one was my first PRS - 1996 PRS Custom 22 with Dragon I pickups. I recorded my first album with him. Nice tone, but after this guitar i found charcoal with ebony fretboard and he gave me much better sound... more hi-gain, more mid and high, attack, and the main - he sounds awesome with B-Dropped tunning. Any of PRS from period 1985-1990's couldnt make modern groove or thrash sound with original pickups. Yes - they souns good, but not so good as new PRS with 59/09 for example. But... If you want unique sound for alternative - best period still mid 1990's i think... cause every custom, mccarty , sas from that period were very different!

Those are 3 awesome looking guitars my friend! You can post pics of as many as you like! We encourage it here! The more, the merrier!

By the way, several month ago i bought HBII but without piezo - i wanted to feel difference between I and II HB - i bought HBII with McCarty Archtop Pickups (the same like on HBI). After comparison i heard that HBI has more rich low frequencies nice fore my ears :) HB sounds littke higher
Here's 1998 PRS McCarty Hollowbody II 10 TOP Teal

Nice Collection, I too particularly love the 96 models my self. I have two custom 24 1996 that I will never get rid of simply bcs they are the best sounding guitars I've ever played. Both are equipped with hfs , but I'm very much considering a 59/09. I'm hoping I like the 59/09 but not sure about the 57/08 for a cu24.

cool - you don't see 1 pc tops like that too often...
this is mine, with ebony fb as well.
1 piece top private stock grade maple
