My dream guitar - HBII with rosewood neck

I like the look of Black Cherry but I don't know if I have seen them all with Black backs. All my Fire Red Burst guitars (I have a 594, 509, Cu24 and the HBii) all have the red mahogany which I love - I dislike opaque finishes that hide the beauty of the wood and its natural grain. It seems more common to have black though with the 'Wrap' style finish but I prefer to have the faux binding.

I think the CE's tend to have a solid/opaque finish as standard (but I could be mistaken) but that could be just the ones that I have looked at more than indicative of the range as a whole.

Your Black Cherry HB is certainly unusual in that the colour wraps over the edge - I don't think I have seen that before.

I'm in San Jose/Santa Clara, so Danville is not that close but it's reasonable enough if there's something I'm tempted about (like that specific Santana Yellow HBII). Really awesome staff there by the way, I haven't bought a guitar yet from them but wouldn't hesitate recommending them.
