Excuse the rant I am a bit upset
As some may have seen I recently bought a rejected offcut spruce hollowbody that I wanted to keep on display (I think it's pretty cool!) I had also considered fitting my spare neck to it and making it look like it was coming through the wall.
I just found out I'm going to be a father again and my car needs fixing constantly so to raise some extra cash I sell things that are surplus, common sense right?
In the last few months
Neck - sold
Ibanez rg8 - sold
Blue lined Prs case - sold
Jcm800 - sold
Etc
I have even sold my snap on tools, spare car parts and some collectible gaming merch
I decided I will throw up my offcut spruce for sale at a price and check out the offers. It cost me money to buy it, get it shipped and pay duty etc the reason being I wanted it, I think it's cool. Instead I get abusive messages on eBay and I have found message board insults, facebook insults etc it find it a bit uncalled for.
I am fully aware this is a reject guitar possibly a gift, I had heard that they were used to demonstrate construction etc and to be honest it too me a long time to find one so it's not exactly easy to come by. I don't think I am miselling it.
Is what I am doing so wrong?
I have done it with lots of things put up a price and invite offers I thought that's normal?
I am not posting a link to the auction, this is not an advert. I have found this forum to be full of level headed easy going people and a safe haven from the troll infested message boards.
