After agonizing over the delivery of this beast, I finally settled in and spent some time playing after receiving it early this week (Dealer pics in the 2020 594 thread).

Here it is in all it's charcoal glory... an absolutely beautiful finish! I'm definitely diggin' the nitro... exceptionally smooth without any tacky or sticky feeling after playing for a stint.

The sound is sublime.... Not sure if it's a sum of the parts or the new "improvements"... I will tell you that it's giving my '17 SC594 a run for its money. I do detect a difference in the 58/15's. I'll need to spend more time at different volumes over the weekend to tell.

Overall, I'm thrilled! These are magnificent instruments.... Now, obligatory glamour shots ;)

Flippin’ hot! Congrats! I’d agree, there’s something about the new ones that is “different”, in a better way.

Congrats! Looks awesome!

Love it! It’s similar to my R9’s but with that lovely asymmetrical carve.

I couldn't agree more! I love the Pattern Vintage. Beefy like an R9, but more "cozy" with the asymmetry.

Case in point, by new 25" McCarty has the Pattern/Wide Fat neck carve, and the specs are similar, but without the asymmetric shape. I miss the Pattern Vintage Carve when I play that guitar, and dig it when I come back to a 594. I don't mind the Pattern carve of the McCarty, it is just noticeably different.
