(my 1st post) NGD: Modern Eagle 1, 2004 BRW Amber. One of the first ME’s ever?

    Thanks! I don't how many got stamped, I thought it was only a couple in the first batch. I saw one other red 2004 MEI (serial number was 890XX I believe) that had a 10 stamp. Does yours have a 10 stamp too?

    Ultra fine steel wool, 2000+ grit sandpaper, lemon juice/baking soda should to the trick if the brass is tarnished!

    @GuitarTalk mine is also stamped a 10 to. It’s a faded blue jean hard tail. Got it from Long & Mcquade in Canada.

    Yup, got it new. I think by the time I did buy it the original MEs were discontinued though. Gotta love Long & Mcquade’s aggressive pricing :)

    Thanks man! I've been on the road, took the guitar out of the case after a couple weeks, still in perfect tune no matter how much you bend!

    Well I got number 4 88394 with 10, dated 12 july in pickup cavity. I´m told its one of the earliest made for demo. The earliest so far?-)
