This has been a long time commin' (2022) but I am finally going to launch the maiden voyage of "Moondog Monday" ;~)) And when I say launch, I mean like right now NOW!!! Starting a live stream on Facebook of me performing right now, my new album "Real Notes"! I have no idea what the sound quality will be like (I know I like what I am feeding the stream) and there will be no video for this maiden voyage. I have yet to work out all the details (and get the proper chords to connect devices) of video streaming, so for now, a logo and the audio ;~)) I will try to look in the comments sections between songs, but I will not be able to reply to anything with typed responses. Anyway, would love any feedback y'all may have about any details or topics!! I have no idea whether you need a FB account to view this. The reason I am kind of rushing into this unprepared is it is a full moon as of 11:16 am PT on Aug 19, 2024 and I have always wanted to launch this on a full moon day, so here we are, seat of the pants!

I will type up more details and the history of this a bit later, but for now, onto the stage ;~))

EDIT: I sure hope nobody tried to tune into this ;~)) I just listened to the playback and had to run to the bathroom and puke! Sorry, I will test the feed in the future to ensure I am getting something even close to acceptable before I start streaming it to the world ;~))

As noted in my edit above, the playback of that feed was totally unacceptable in every way imaginable! I hope nobody actually tuned in ;~)) Got to work on getting the feed from my computer right. What I get in my headphones is soooooooooooo not even close to what I heard on playback! I deleted the entire video stream so as to not force the vomit in anybody else!

Bright side is, I did my first live stream for "Moondog Monday" on a full moon Monday! Woooo hoooooo!!! Now I just need to figure everything else out ;~))

Well, I figured out what the problem was with my live stream! OBS (the streaming/broadcasting software I was using) had been feeding the microphone from my headset that I use for computer based phone calls and zoom meetings ;~(( So it was feeding a signal of my electric guitars in room sound without any amplification or effects (I play through headphones most of the time), my unprocessed vocals and my unprocessed cajon kick sound, all from 10 feet away!! You can only imagine how horrible this sounded!!! Next edition (possibly tomorrow if I can get my signal routing figured out) will NOT have the same issue ;~))
