Guys,
I want to finally upgrade my SC250 to use split pots and also the necessary caps and resistors to have the volume not drop when I switch to split tones.
I need to supply my guitar tech the parts and the schematic. He said he could figure it out bit it would be best to give this to him.
I have to at least give him components.
Question though, will split pots impact the tone of rhe guitar as it is now? Meaning will the pots be cheaper so that full humbucker tons won't be as good? I've heard split pots are inferior to regular pots.
I actually never use my volume pot to clean up the tone because the volume drops too much. So, I stopped using the volume other than to go silent.
