Modern Eagle V pickups

Well... my bridge pickup on my MEV was setup pretty high and I hadn't tweaked it yet.
So I played with it today and I think I like it best with the outer side edges of the pickup
about flush with the pickup ring. So all of the curved face of the pickup is above the
pickup ring.

Really digging it a LOT more now!!!

Does the MEV basically use five single coils albeit two of them paired up to look like h/b’s?

Not in the way the 513/509 guitars did. The V in this case indicates it is the fifth iteration of the Modern Eagle. It is a HSH guitar.

I think the splits go into the next coil, though.
