Modern Eagle 1: trem or not?

Hi everyone,

I would like to buy a ME1 for collection and I am undecided whether to acquire it with tremolo or stop tail. Which of them is the most collectible?

I've heard that faded blue jeans is the most desired color, is that true?

Are you only looking to buy one in order to sell it later for a profit? If so, I can not help you.

However, if you to buy one of the best guitars ever made anywhere by anyone because you want to play the hell out of it, this is what Red Tiger w/ Trem looks like.

this won't help much but I haven't noticed one being more collectable. Faded Blue Jean was popular but it can actually continue to fade.....a lot.

Based upon what I have, I would think the majority are trems. I like both. And while I have both DCs and SCs, I’m more of a fan of the latter.

I think emerald is the least common, and I don’t have that color.

I don't buy guitars with the intention of reselling them, I buy them for passion.
I have two or three instruments that I use most frequently and then I like to buy exclusive, special guitars with a good collectible interest.
The intention is to leave them to my daughters hoping that I never need the money.
In life you never know.

In my book, an ME1 should have a trem. It makes it that much different (and betterer!) than a McCarty from that time.

Last I knew, the original knobs were in the case pocket. They aren’t terribly hard to swap.

Still need to move my Knaggs Severn HSH
Even debate about selling Miss Pernie and my McManus...

I hate selling guitars, buying them is so much better! But reality is a cruel mistress. Been fighting this chronic illness for over 3 years now

Sorry (and my “like” means I understand). I didn’t mean to be insensitive. Somebody really should buy Paul’s ME. Such a great guitar! I never would have let it go if I didn’t have its twin sister.
