Now let’s talk stoptail on these. If my memory serves, they’re unplated brass? I got it in my head recently that I need one of these. Anyone have thoughts on them?

Did they make the ME1 in a trem? I agree with FBJ. I think the charcoal and the tiger were the nicest. FBJ is beautiful too though. Slate was nice too. I remember someone from BAM had a Bonnie Pink ME1 PS.

Mine's Slate with a trem. Retrofitted with 59/09s. I will never let it go.

Emerald is the least in production numbers. That being said, I believe any non-faded Modern Eagle 1 guitars will hold huge value eventually. Non-Faded Faded Blue Jean ME1 should eventually be one of the most sought after PRS in terms of collectibility followed by all of the other colors.

I´ve been looking on ME1s and agree that Emerald, Slate and Naturals are the rarest. In 2004 they made almost certanly fewer than 100 ME1s and at least 33% are FBJ and about 10% with trems. Red tigers and amber seems to be the second and third most common colours as far as 2004s. Trems get more common in 2005 and even more in 2006 and of course all the sc have trems.
At the time I didn´t like the FBJ at all but they seems to grow on me and I would really like to have one.
