i'm on a stop/wraptail kick.

in the old days i used to know a great number of the models and their features, but between the aging process and the plethora of configurations that have come out in recent years, i have lost track.

* mccarty
* sc/singlecut
* hollowbody
* early studios
* sig ltd

what else came stock with non-trem tail pieces?

thanks!

Several of the Artist, Modern Eagle, and Limited Edition (like the Rosewood Ltd.) models have the wrap-stoptail. And let's not forget the first Dragon guitar, which debuted the wrap-stoptail.

As a non-term model, you mention the McCarty wrap style version, but there are also three core versions of the McCarty 594 (each in single or double cut with a P90 variant to boot) that use a 2-piece, LP style bridge. One of the most popular PRSi out there!

There was even a Joe Walsh signature with *gasp* stainless frets. There’s one on Reverb now a under original cost. That won’t happen often.

thanks for the feedback, guys! several facepalms for me.

* paul's. duh. should thought of that, but i dont need one because i have a 408 and a sig ltd, and sonically it seems redundant
* mira old-school core - another duh. i have one, just wasn't in the room with it when i started the thread. i love the grit from that lightweight angry beast
* sc245/ zack meyers - i've had a few singlecuts and the upper bout is not for me
* se - the top carve is not my favorite
* dc-22 - yet another duh. i had one, liked the guitar but not the pickups
* dirty 100 - haven't had one but suspect i'll dislike the 59/09s like i did with other discards
* ME* - had one, just not a huge fan of rw necks. i know, sacrilege
* artist/limited edition/dragon - hmmm
* Cu22/Cu24 - possible option if it had the right pickups
* narrowfield studio - i had a mcnarrowfield and a sas narrowfield back in the day. far too articulate for my sloppy playing style
* ce - there were ce's with stop tails?
* hollowbody - had a couple. meh on original tone. swapped out pickups and it was great sonically but too much feedback live
* archtop/vela/tremonti - hmmm. i've yet to even play one
* 594 - have one. girthy guitar but not a fan of the LT pickups. at some point i'll break out the soldering iron
* P90 anything. no. just no. no ice picks.
* joe walsh sig - absolutely zero point zero stainless steel frets allowed in this house unless it is in the form factor of a kitchen appliance or cutlery

I might suggest a PS build. You have intimate knowledge of the line, and have or do currently own some very nice guitars. If you haven't already done this you should consider it. I'm two guitars away myself.
