Love my H. It had el84's installed at the factory. I had sent it back for the latest revisions and to add a boost. It's going nowhere anytime soon.

I noticed the same thing and asked. It is the 1/4" so I'm good there. Gonna throw him an offer.

You have an RJ11 plug and jack for your foot switch? Wow, that must have been one custom order!

Yeah yeah, I know what you meant. (As we all probably know, the "Phone jack" name for a 1/4" plug derives from the use in a telephone switch board.)

Correct, and thus the term for "tip and ring" and eventually adding sleeve.

I got my head in paisley Tolex with the footswitch in the original box for $500.
What a deal!
It gets rotated with the Deluxe Reverb and Tweed Deluxes depending on the venue,
With lap steel, it’s a total killer.

I had an early year 2 Channel H combo for a bit. Top notch construction, didn't care for the gain channel, but the clean channel is the die for. The reverb is the best I've ever heard in an amp. They are definitely under the radar in regard to price with respect to quality. Don't let any potential design flaw deter ya. ALL amps have some flaw somewhere. Great amp.

I plug my H head into an old Tweed Deluxe cab recovers in black Tolex with a mystery 12” speaker.
My MIM Jazzmaster just sings with this combination.
