Out of curiosity, why didn't you remove the hardware and electronics before doing the finish work?

You've clearly never been to Utah/Arizona/New Mexico. You can't turn around without seeing Kokopeli or the Lightning Bear on every surface.

I didnt see a reason to, I thought this was going to be a simple, fast, refin, was wrong, it is now stripped.

That is correct! Closest I've been to that area is CO, which is obviously not really similar at all haha

In the beginning, I didn't "get" the paint scheme...but that finished product looks awesome!!! Nice job.

Is it one kind of metal leaf over paint color, or what am I looking at exactly for the finished product?I don't know anything about metal leafing Looks rad.

Paint layer underneath, since metal leaf is so thin, it can react to what shades are under it, it's 2 different leafs, Copper and Silver, first layer tarnished (purposely with acrylic mediums), small sections of new leaf for the contrast, finished in semigloss with neck in satin for protection, looks rough, but nice and smooth.
