I was in Big Sur earlier today with my girlfriend. We were going to the beach with her dog and I noticed a very tall slender man with a dog up ahead. He was dressed in white linen with long hair....kinda gave me shaman vibes. As we got closer the man's dog started getting friendly with our dog. I realized it was Brandon Boyd, the lead singer of Incubus. I tried not to freak out. I told him I was a big fan and he thanked me. I wanted a photo but he was spending time with his friends/family and I didn't want to be intrusive. He seemed super nice.
I've been listening to Incubus since I was 15.... I'm almost 40 now. I started playing PRS because Mike Einziger of Incubus played PRS. It was a super surreal experience and I wanted to share. I know musicians are just regular people but it was just really cool to meet someone that I've admired for so long.
