My first trip to "Paul's library" preceded private stock. Before PS, Paul had a little room where he kept his private stash. I contributed a chunk of pink ivory to it.
This guitar came from that trip, which has the 1st walnut back.

My first trip to PRS was 1999. The factory was closed so I bought some strings for the PRSes I owned at the time. As I briefly described what I had, someone (Paul Miles I believe) was doing a bit of work and offered a tour. That was quite excellent, and very thorough. I especially liked the smell in the Brazilian room - it might have been temporary while PRS was doing its own drying.
But...the best bit was the paint room where a newly painted red Dragon 2000 was hanging to dry. It was off the charts incredible and set me off on a mission to acquire a guitar more expensive than I had any business owning. But that's another story.
