There were a few threads here about the MDT and HX/DA where settings were asked for. The fake snow day yesterday found me noodling around at home and used the opportunity to dust off the Signature Limited and put it through the MDT.
The MDT is set up about how I'd set it when playing out with it. For the stuff we do, the MDT is set to go from clean to crunch at decent gig volume, and I use an OCD if I want more gain. If your're playing heavy material, celarly you'd set it up differntly. I tend not to pay much attention to the actual settings on the amp, but just sort of unconciously tweak 'till it's what I want. I was surprised at how close to noon everything was. Also, I tend to set things on the bright side when gigging more so than when just playing alone, which might not be to everybody's taste. Just find that it works better that way with another guitarist in the mix.
As a side note, I think that this is an example of how the Signature Limited single coil tone shines through more so when the volume on the guitar is rolled back. Everything here is with the guitar set between 4 and 7 on the volume. Tone was dimed on the guitar. Anyway, here's a pic of the setting and a clip of my random sloppy noodling...
