McSoapies: F- or G-spacing?

Hey all, picked up a 2004 McSoapy a little while back and I'd like to swap out the PU covers. I checked the specs for F and G spacing, but it seems that the stock covers are something else. The outer pole pieces seem to be somewhere near 1 29/32 (like I can really eyeball that these days!) and the mounting screws 3/4 of an inch apart. Make sense?

Also, any idea what the stoptail is made of? It almost appears to be nickle-coated, but that's probably just grunge build-up over the years. I plan to clean and buff it, but need to know the material in order to determine the appropriate tools, etc. This baby is spotless otherwise. Hard to imagine it's 15 years old.

If your pickups are stock, from what I understand those are actually Duncan P-90s. So, start there on your hunt.

Yes, a 2004 stoptail would be nickel coated I think over aluminum. They stopped nickel plating them in 2009 or so? Man I used to remember this stuff.
