So I scored on a beater McRosie the other day. If got flung across the floor in a domestic dispute.

Today I whacked a hole in it to install a 2Tek bridge.

The problem is, I don't know what kind of paint job to put on it now!

I would go for this (borrowed from TGS's website):

The McRosie seems to have a nice flame that needs to be stained black (and the re-sanded) in order to bring it to life.
The wrap around burst should cover the filled dings...

I'm thinking about doing a Goldtop on this, but with the edge damage, I'm not sure I can leave the maple binding. Does anyone have any cool finish ideas for me?

Gold leaf top!

So I scooped up this McRosie that had been damaged in a domestic dispute. I understand that the significant other heaved it across the floor. It sustained some pretty good edge chips and such, but was available for a price that I could not pass up.

Just out of curiosity, would you happen to know when the former owner of this guitar is up for parole? I'd like to appear at the hearing to speak on their behalf.

Goldtop

I've seen a number of PRS with the Shelby type racing stripes. I'm wondering about maybe doing something to mimic my '69 Road Runner.
