I've run across a 2007 McCarty Tremolo for sale and wanted to get some comments. Is the McTrem a rare find these days?

While most McCartys were built with stop-tail bridges, there have been a quite few runs (both factory and Wood Library) with tremolo bridges. I wouldn't say they're rare, per-se....they just haven't really been a consistent model in the product line-up.

That being said, I always thought they'd be great guitars with the fatter back and the tremolo bridge.

No idea how rare, but a P22 Trem is basically a McTrem + piezo

Brian just did a killer WL run of McTrems :)

Do it. I’ve owned 4-5 McTrems and they’re absolutely fantastic guitars. Today I own a Goldtop with 57/08 pickups in it. It’s NOT for sale. Do it.

If it's the one in your avatar... Really nice.
Almost had one with an IRW neck, but it got away from me. Had to settle for a DGT with IRW

I owned two and STUPIDLY sold them both. Rare and fantastic!

They did a 100 guitar run of them in '06 and '07.

Buy it.
