McCarty/Santana 3 Way Toggle Switch

Replaced mine, it was too stiff and noisy(cleaner did not help). This part is the exact replacement. $25 shipped.
(This was the lowest price from the best online retailer I could find, others might find them less expensive somewhere else, but I had an account with them already...) Smooth and quiet switching now.

Update: Used this exact part number to replace the 3 way toggle in my Core 2012 Santana. After it was replaced(because of very noisy switching) all three pickup positions now sound much better.

Mine sounds fine on Santana and CE24, but on the CU22 SE the switch doesn't always turn on the neck, so it's coming out today. Full US harness with push/pull arriving today, so now the question is whether to add the HFS/VBs that are in the same package to the SE...

Huh. Same exact situation on my own 2016 CU22 SE Semihollow)! That's going to be looked at soon, probably just replaced right away with a better part. Coincidentally, my Santana SE had the same exact issue, and after a few tweaks/fixes at the shop, I gave up and popped for a new upgraded part. All fixed. (I have eight USAs, and none of those has ever had the slightest electronics problem.)

With a number of guitars, I tend to let my McCarty hang sometimes for a month. The pots are great, no scratch, but the 3 way demands some phase tricks, basically back and forth until the scratch disappears. I try to incorporate that into practice in a "I meant to do that" way...;-)
