When I had both, my SAS was a lot brighter than my CU22. What are you looking for in your next guitar? Either will make a nice addition, depends on what you're after.
I don't know, but if I were you, I'd flip a coin and get on with it
But I'd go for the McCarty Soapbar myself, I wouldn't pass it up if I have that chance. Like what vchizzle said, if you can let us know what are you looking for in the guitar, it'll definitely make it clearer to decide.
NF are Narrowfield pickups...smaller size humbuckers with sounds close to both buckers and single coils...I have an NF3 and love it. If you want a bigger variety of sounds, go with the SAS, but the McSoapy will give great full classic soap bar (P-90) sounds. (with a little inherent noise, though)
