Just wondering if anyone in the community has spent the time and money to replace the original bridge with the PRS 300 dollar one offered on the Parts Site and was it worth it, tone and intonation-wise?

Thanks for the feedback.

The only reason I'd ever consider upgrading to the adjustable bridge was if I used really heavy strings, or some weird hybrid set.

Otherwise, the standard bridge is spot on and works like a charm!

Thanks for the feedback~!.

Since we're using a standard D'Addario 9.5 set and the original stop tail piece, we only measure a very, very small intonation variance. Nothing my old ears can hear outloud anyway when we're blasting away with the HXDA.

The standard one-piece bridge is a marvel. I don't see any need in swapping it. If you're looking for a change in tone, I'd recommend different pickups for that $300.

In case you didn't realize, you can adjust intonation on that bridge with the little grub screws you can see from the back. That should get your 9.5s right on the money.
