McCarty differences? McCarty, 594, SC?

I have a 2018 core 594 and love everything about it. The feel, weight, tone, everything works for my playing... My musical preferences cover, Bad Religion, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Mastadon, Parkway Drive, and Deftones. Now I am thinking about a second PRS and curious about the subtle differences in the McCarty models. A new PRS would likely replace one of my ESP LTD EC1000s (single cut style) in dropped C, through a Peavey 6505 (yes I know it's a unique setup, LOL).

It looks like the neck profiles are slightly different as are the pickup configurations, though they have the same pickups. The SC would be a little heavier, right? While I always dreamed of a Custom 24 the fixed bridge is my preferred setup. A Tremonti could also be great though I don't see many often. It seems like any of the McCarty's are going to be almost identical and if I want some variation I would to for the Custom 24 or Tremonti, right. I apologize if I am missing something obvious here.

It would not be the end of the world if I just picked up another 594 and explained to my wife it would sound different because it would be charcoal instead of my current aquamarine.

Awesome video, I appreciate it. It sounds like I can't go wrong with any of the McCarty's as the difference s are subtle. That should make things easier. Thanks.

I have an older McCarty 2001 with rosie neck. The pups are a bit darker, but I bet it would benefit from the newer 58/15 LT.
Love it to death.
My WL 594 doesn't have the 'TCI" pups but it is also killer.
Of course the bridges are hugely different but I love the simplicity of the McCarty wrap.

For what you want to do with it, don’t sleep on a McCarty standard with an adjustable stoptail. A set of \m/ pickups…
Beast of a guitar that barks, stays nice and tight.

I am leaning in that direction. Either a standard McCarty or 594SC. In both cases, the metal pickups seem like the logical step.

My new 2021 594 SC, 10-top in trampas green arrived yesterday. Beautiful guitar (still need to learn how to post pics). So far, about 2 hrs of playing and some minor setup later, it is living up to expectations. The tone is a little thicker than my 2018 594. The added body thickness feels great too.

I love my 594 as well. I also love heavy drop C music. I would go for the original McCarty, has the slightly longer 25 inch scale which makes going to drop C easier. I have a McCarty in Drop C with some Bareknuckle and it rips.
