Has anyone else found the nut on this guitar uncomfortable to hold when playing open chords on the first few frets? It is straight and sharp on both edges that align with the neck, not rounded like the Hollow body or SC58 that I have. Is this a design feature or is it a faulty nut that has got through quality control. What is the best tool to smooth off the edges of the nut, any suggestions anyone?

Did you purchase it new? Most dealers will offer a free set-up or adjustment on a buy. Or yes, a small file and some TLS would do it. Doesn't need a luthier at all.
