McCarty 594 - How to tighten pickup switch?

I have a McCarty 594 singlecut and the ring around the pickup switch gets loose every few days. I tighten it with my thumb but loosens up again. Anyone have a better way to tighten these a bit more so they stay snug?

If it's protruding from the top wood, which mine is, this will work:

Yeah, that music nomad / esp tool wont work with recessed switches like in mccarty but may and mostlikely will on 594

Uninstall the back switch cover and make sure the switch is not blocked by something like a wire underneath. Push moderately on the switch body to try and expose more bushing and tighten the ring with either the tool above or a small plier. Make sure to protect your finish with thick painter's tape first, though, and be gentle. Don't crush your ring knurling.

A little dab of blue Loctite on the threads will help keep the nut from jiggling loose
