For my blues music. I decided to hook up the 89 CE to the Peavey 100 watt head and Marshall 212 cab. Initially started out clean (actually not bad) then went to the lead channel and cranked it up. Holy bugeebers!!!!! I now know what they mean by creamy leads! Guitar was set on neck pickup and gain on the amp was on 10. Only 2 pedals I used was the wah and compressor. Honestly best tone I've ever had. Felt like a real guitar player

Thanks everyone. Yes lots of headroom. Sometimes Peavey gets a bad rap but 100 watt valve king is straight up killer for blues and rock. I am going to get a splitter and hook up the Mesa clean and see what happens

I'm still playing my 1994 peavey 5150 head. This thing has been rock solid since new.
