I just got this prs ce black limba in February 14th and I notice today that a piece came out from the maple neck. Is this normal and any way to prevent this. Also, I notice that sometimes when turning the tone knob from high to low the static would like jump or bounce but I think I just might be normal because it change the high and low frequencies of the amp. Should I contact prs for this little thing

Looks impact related to me.
Don’t be surprised if Customer Service says the same thing.
I know it sucks, but it is probably easiest to just leave it as it is.
Wasn’t there a similar situation with a maple neck a couple of years ago where the person swore there was no way it was from impact?

Yeah I just have it in my house never took it out for anything. Definitely is not impact related as it has it own stand.

Your Maple neck should not be flaking ever.

It looks like it may be an impact ding. You could always fill it in with a little bit of super glue and then sand it smooth with some very fine grit sand paper, like P2000 or P2500 grit.

All of my dings and blemishes get clear coat applications with a tooth pick unless they are too deep and need something heavier duty
like the super glue or wood filler.

I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt to contact customer service. Several years ago I had purchased one of the experience guitars, a 5708 McCarty. After owning it for a couple of weeks a 6" piece of the clear coat on the back of the neck just fell of while I was playing on a gig! They had the guitar fixed and back to me in under 2 weeks. Great customer service on that one.
It does look impact related (even if it's not) so you never know what they will say but I would at least try.
