Saw Mayer tonight in DC and it looked like he was playing a Silver Sky with a maple fretboard
Are you sure it wasn't a CE?
I was there, too, and can confirm.
Now I'm interested
That would be a welcome addition to the SS lineup.
That's the next offering in the SS line up. I said it first so can I get the first one!!!!
Oh boy..... just what I’ve been holding out for! Can’t wait to see some better photos!
Probably an SE...
Did it have sparkles like a bass boat?
It looked Tungsten to me. He switched between that one, a regular white one, and used a McCarty 594 for one song.
Wow, that photo is so low fidelity it's almost an impressionist painting. I love it.
If this is true, well,
TAKE MY MONEY NOW!
I saw an IG video of it as well. While I've always been a Rosewood board fan, I think this looks really good!
Hmmm....itchy trigger finger!
This doesn’t help me at all!
Although I could be dreaming, if I saw PRS do one with a roasted curly maple neck....that would instantly be my next guitar.
Several PS have been done this way - Brian has some in stock
Noted! I was referring to a Silver Sky with a roasted maple neck/board....I'm fired up just thinking about it!
I was sitting far and zoomed my phone on the screen. Best I could do with an iPhone 6.
