I've got a left over Mann brass trem block left over from the S2 Standard 24 that I sold a while back. I've also got a new SE SAS that I just installed new SE locking tuners in and am very happy with the results. I'm thinking about installing the Mann block in the SE considering that the S2 and SE bridges would be the same, but I'm curious about the potential albeit subtle tone change. The SE SAS is a pretty bright sounding guitar and I'd like to tame that a bit.
Wouldn't the brass block take just a bit of the highs out?

I believe it does. I’ve done it plenty of times. I let the guitar decide if it gets steel or brass blocks

Thanks for the info. I'll swap the bridge at the next string change and see what happens.
@dogrocketp, yes, there's an inherent shrillness to the SAS and I was considering a pickup change to fix it, but my S2 Standard had the 85/15S pickups and I remember them sounding pretty good, so I don't think a pickup swap is necessary. Possibly the pots and/or the cap could be the issue?
Either way, I'll do the bridge block first and see what happens.

Update; I went ahead and swapped in the Mann brass trem block a couple days ago.
Initial impression...well, I haven't had a chance to crank the guitar yet, but I'll take it to my gig this Saturday and see how it sounds then.
I'm hoping for even a slight cut in the shrill highs which seem to be inherent in these when they're cranked.
