I'm looking for opinions on replacing my old Tremonti SE's standard wraparound bridge with the Mann 2300 intonatable wraparound. If I was going to do it I'd go whole hog and add the brass stud wells too.

What kind of tonal difference, if any, should I expect going from a cast piece of aluminum to a machined piece of aluminum with brass saddles?

I put the 2300 on two SE's and 3 Cores. For my ears, there was a little more sustain, and more openness to notes. Maybe a touch brighter.

The brass saddles add a little bit of note separation and clarity. It takes out a little of the zing and rawness of the straight aluminum, which may or may not be a good thing to you.
