Magic Wood?

Does anyone know anything about the (I think they are called) Magic Wood guitars? I was chatting with someone who said PRSh had made some guitars for others (including this person I was chatting with) out of wood that wasn't visually pleasing enough (i.e. knots and streaks) to be used in production, but that he thought had great tonal value.

I have not seen or heard these guitars, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them.
