Magic Combinations

It's always one of my simple pleasures to find that symbiosis of guitar meets amplifier to create that "perfect tone."

Here's one of mine: My PRS 25th anniversary Swamp Ash Special into the Supro TremoVerb.

It’s fairly obvious that the McCarty Singlecut should go magically well with the HXDA, and indeed it does; but a very nice surprise was the combination of 594 Soapbar with the DG30 and DG30 cabinet. It’s a unique sound that fits like a glove.

Not that any of the other combinations aren’t stellar, but that one’s truly unique.

I promised pics of one of my magical combinations.

The DG30 is the cream colored amp on the far left. The guitar is my 594 Soapbar. But honestly, all of my guitars go like peanut butter and jelly with at least one of the amps.

It’s really a great sonic match for the amp. Looks nice with it, too.
