Goooood afternoon! So I’ve been scouring the web, Reverb, EBay, Craiglaist, the Devils spit, etc, and I have yet to see any of these available. It’s a PRS Experience 2020 River Blue Modern Eagle V 10 Top in Mint Condition. I played around with it a bit but I just couldn’t connect with it. I’m looking to get rid of it but there are ZERO comparable guitars (IE year/color/rarity/etc) that I’ve seen online to set a price. I found one in a Solana Burst but the back of the neck, headstock, and body were painted a solid color and did not do the guitar justice in my opinion. Please, share your thoughts and opinions with me as I like to move on to something that I’d truly enjoy!!

yea theres no shortage of MEV’s out there and there’s been a number of experience guitars as well. If they can’t be found one is not looking very hard.
Feel free to send me some links for AVAILABLE 2020 PRS EXP guitars that are AVAILABLE for purchase-I sure as hell can’t can’t find any.
First hit on google...

2020 River Blue Modern Eagle V 10 T

It cracks me up that I had a few responses (which I appreciate) however, I’m still waiting for comparable purchases which claimed that I wasn’t “looking hard enough.”

Here is a link to "Sold Listings" on Reverb for Used ME-V. There are some Exp 2020 guitars listed here.

Sorry if I sounded frustrated-I have zero experience buying or selling online and am just ready to move this guitar down the road lol.

Well, if you're hesitant to sell on line, which is totally understandable, I would recommend reaching out to Chicago Music Exchange. They are, by far, the fairest with regards to buying used guitars, even if you're not in the Chicago area. Tell them what you want to sell. They will give you a quote, site unseen, for your guitar. They will also tell you what they are going to list it for, and give you 70% of that. Could be more if you want to trade it for something else. When I've gone there, they open the case, log the serial number, and give you a check for exactly what they quoted over email. No haggling. No fuss.

If that's not something you want to do, and you're still not sure about selling online, I would reach out to a dealer and see if they would list it on consignment. I've also gone that route. As long as you're in no rush for the cash, it's a good way to get the most for your guitar and not having to do it on your own.

I really appreciate your honest and clear response. I threw it up on Reverb so we will see but refuse to deal with Craigslist and stuff like that after horrible experiences. Dealers out here on the west coast are telling me PRS sales are minimal compared to the east coast. I went to my neighborhood shop looking to trade for a Martin D35 and they would only give me $1800.

$1800!!! Oof! Reminds me of a time in the mid 90s when I took a EBMM EVH to a small shop in suburban Chicago. Wanted to trade it for an SRV Strat. Guy I was dealing with at the counter was all over it. Loved the EVH. He took it back to the owner to see what they could give me for it. He came back all dejected and tells me the owner will only give me $300 in trade. The look on my face must have given away what I was thinking because the clerk says, "He's got no idea what this is, and how much we could sell it for. Sorry." Needless to say, I didn't get the SRV.

Anyway, Reverb is probably the safest place to sell if you're doing it on your own. I'd never list anything on Craig's List, or eBay. But, that's just me.

Happy to have helped. Good luck! Not sure where you're at, but if you end up pulling it from Reverb, and want to deal with a shop, check out WildCat Guitars, and Doug Diamond. They're located in Escondido. He's a super cool dude. Used to post here.

Lol, it always hurts to hear the letdown at the counter for what you are trying to sell. So YES, Wildcat and Doug are Amazing!!!!! I’ve purchased multiple guitars from them and have their personal numbers in my phone. I actually bought this Modern Eagle from Doug. Wildcat is, BY FAR, THE BEST guitar shop in Southern California.

man, that’s a real low ball offer. I bet you’ll get close to your asking price on Reverb.
