I'm probably going to have to sell my PRS hollow body II but I really don't know what the ballpark price would be around. For the record, I really don't know hardly anything regarding PRS guitars. I've been a Gibson guy for over 30 years. The specs on my PRS are the following -
Private Stock Hollow Body II / Joe Knaggs guitar, with Paul Reed Smith's signature, maple top, tiger eye finish, black onyx birds with 14 karat outlines, Brazilian rosewood, gold hardware, piezo bridge, serial # - 160284, year - 2001. I had purchased this guitar a number of years back from a retail site and I simply don't remember how much I paid for it. Interestingly enough, as I was searching online to try to "Appraise" my guitar, I found a site that actually sold the same guitar I have - exact same one - serial # the same etc. So apparently they sold it to the company that I bought it from. Moreover, the value is probably different now than when I bought it (used). Its the most beautiful guitar I've owned but (sorry!) I actually prefer my black beauty .....just a personal preference. I gather the price range (used of course - and in very good condition) could be anywhere from 6 grand to ......10k or more but that could be wishful thinking. Anyway, any information would be GREATLY appreciated. Lastly, I'm wondering if the value will continue to go up and whether I really should sell this guitar. As I stated, I really like my black beauty so I figured it would be better to sell it but I don't want to get seller's remorse. Any ideas or thoughts or any help would be greatly appreciated.
