Looking for some info on an older Santana SE

Hi guys, hoping you can help. I'm extremely close to picking up a used yellow Santana SE, from I can tell from the K in the serial number, it's a 2010. My question is in regards to the pickups. They're chrome covered & on the yellow Santana's, I've never seen anything but zebras in there. Did they ever use chrome covered from the factory? If so, were they vastly different?

From Google I found this review on a 2010, and it has Zebs on it.

Maybe someone switched yours out.

Thanks for that info Corey. I decided i couldn't resist, factory pickups or not. I have wanted a Santana shape forever. This will do til i can foot the money for the real thing. If i need to swap those out, so be it

Even if I'm entering the PRS Fanclub on the SE lower class deck, I couldn't be more excited to get that badboy in my hands. I've wanted one for a long time. I sure haven't seen any bad reviews on those Santana SE's. I will be interested to see if any of the members have experience with the chrome ones. The music store I got it from seemed to think they were factory

He Rick, SEs are great!
I have several, but only one core, a 2013 408 with maple top.
All of my SEs play great, and my 2012 SE Santana is out hanging on my wall full time to pick up play.

I shouldn't have looked at that pic. All it did was make me jealous. Hahaha.

One other quick question, I can't see a seam on the mahogany back in the one I'm buying. Am I correct that the wood is one piece on the woodgrain versions & 3 piece on the painted versions, hence the price difference between the 2?
