Looking For SE Vintage (Bernie, Zack style) Locking Tuners

John Mann's site has been out-of-stock for a long time. Would prefer to keep the "green" button look. I want them to be the phase III style, direct drop-in. Can someone give me a direct link if such a beast exists at this point?

I can't give you a direct link, but the Gotoh SD90 tuners are a direct drop in for a Bernie. They can be a little hard to find in stock now also, however.

I've read numerous threads here from other Bernie owners who all state the SD90's are drop in replacements with no need to drill holes or anything. I can't vouch for that 100%, but some of the "Bernie Bros" here (haha) have all said this, and I trust them.

I can confirm that all variants of the Gotoh SD90's are a direct drop in on Bernies. I have 3 Bernie's & a Zach Myers and they all have the SD90's, 2 feature standard posts ,while the other 2 feature height adjustable posts for perfect balance over the nut. The locking version have the exact same footprint so should be a perfect fit.

Bernie's 1 & 2 both fitted with SD-90HAP (Height adjustable posts)

Bernie #3 fitted with standard SD-90

Zach Myers fitted with standard SD-90

For me, I also wanted to keep the vintage aesthetics but do not like the dial-button knob. SO I went with Gotoh-Kluson-Locking vintage drop-ins for my Bernie.

Those are the exact ones I ordered! I got 2 sets, because I'm changing them on my Zack Myers as well. These are perfect!
