I have a 2019 SE Standard 24. I was thinking of replacing the stock tuners with the PRS SE locking tuners.

Are they heavier, the same, or lighter than stock?
    Easy to use?
Easy to install for a relative klutz?

All my other guitars have had standard tuners so I don't know if it's worth it or if I've got an answer in search of a problem.

I’ve installed both the Mann & PRS locking tuners. I’m a total klutz, so if I can do it, you can too.

You can re-use the original screws, washers and nuts and and save the new ones as spares.

My only tip is when re-installing a wood screw, start by backing it out until it drops into place. *Then* screw it down.
