Locking Tuners For McCarty Korina?

I'd like to replace the vintage tuners on my McCarty Korina with locking ones.

Supposedly, none of the Phase 2 or Phase 3 tuners will fit.

Are there any after market tuners that will work? I'm spoiled by my other PRSi, all of which have locking tuners.

Don't they make vintage locking kluson type tuners? I'm not sure as I've never owned vintage tuners

Just about anything else out there will require reaming a bigger hole or new mounting screw holes.

I have these on my mccarty and I don't really like them. Instead of feeding string through tuner and tightening thumb screw you put string through threaded cap and since the string is through it you can't screw it tight so you wind tuner till it makes contact then finish it with a tool.

It works but it's not as slick as the prs tuners and they are loose fitting IMO.

Isn't there an issue with headstock thickness or something, too? I know there is thread out there about this.

EDIT: lots of posts about this. There are some direct replacements, but not from PRS. The headstock is thinner and the angle is different. PRS locking tuners would create too little break angle.
