PBS has been running a concert tribute to Levon Helm this month called "Love for Levon". He has always been one of my favourite guys and I love his voice. Garth Hudson was there (man, he is getting old), of course, Mavis Staples going thru her usual histrionics, Joe Walsh looks better in his 60's than he did in his 30's. I was hoping that Ronnie, Robbie and Emmylou would show up, alas they didn't. Anyway, it was pretty good as far as these things go, certainly worth checking out if you like Levon and The Band.
