Let's see the family photos!

My most recent family picture. Will be adding a DIY Jazzmaster here in a little bit.

Added the MEV about 6 weeks ago. Wanted one since I played the OG PS version at Lark several years ago. I found a WL with Rosewood neck locally, but not a fan of the gold hardware (or the price). Then I stumbled on this one and liked the tone even more. That 10 top quilt and rosewood neck on the WL though...

The Santana is a 15 I bought new, my number one until I bought the 594 HBII in 21 but still gets regular exercise, and lovin' the new one. The MEV gets me close to the Strat tones I like with better playability.

I moved to CO from TX permanently a couple years ago (lived in both for a few years), so no longer in a band, need to get out there. I have found a buddy to jam with close to me, he's a UPS driver and saw the 594 in my office during a delivery a year ago, from TX originally too, so we hit it off and were jamming every week until both our wives had surgeries a few months ago. He always asks me to bring one of the PRS when we get together.

And a bonus pic of the new amp they are going through!

I finally had the time to get the whole family together for an updated picture with better lighting than my June photo. I call this "do you think I have a 'type'?" It may look like I favor the 594 platform, which is true though the charcoal Tremonti on the left is just so amazing its difficult to think about another Tremonti (even though I have one on the way this fall, but this one is even more special).

Sweet collection of McCarty 594’s. My Great Grandmother was a McCarty so I just picked up my first 594 on Reverb (in my avatar) in memory of her. She passed before I was born but family lore indicates she was quite the lady and raised seven kids during the Depression. I think of her every time I pick it up … it is an amazing guitar. I need to do research to see if she was related to Ted.

I added a tele to the stable and had to take new pics.

From left to right:

Warmoth tele body and torrefied flame maple neck with Fralin pickups, Custom 24-08 wood library, and a Custom 24 SE with everything upgraded and turned into a 24-08. I have found myself being a huge fan of necks that do not have a lacquer finish on them. The torrified maple neck is sweet. So is the east Indian rosewood on the wood library. I may never go back. lol

Here are my Kids, I know it’s a guitar forum but I felt I had to show all my kids. They all make me happy.
I only just got my PRS (McCarty 594 S2 Single Cut) and I’m blown away by it. What a fantastic instrument.

Welcome to the forum.
Bonus pints for photo and avatar with first post.

There's a reason that the guitars in this photo reside in the position they do...

The 594 soapy has been loaned to my lead player and he is gobsmacked with the tone.
Tonight I let him play the 594 SC SH with the added 58/18 LT+ pickups and his jaw dropped again...
Fantastic night going through our setlists... :)
