Now my PRS family is even: 2 Cores, 2 SEs.

Yesterday I met the surviving partner of my best friend and she fulfilled her promise at his funeral (and she presented me more of his belongings likewise his whisky collection).
Anyways. He bought the SE Mark Tremonti Custom in 2013, it's absolutely in mint condition.
Though I planned it, I don't know now, if I will modify the guitar to locking tuners, a Vega-Trem, maybe new pickups/electric parts.

Such a nice memory of your friend Martin.

I hate to pry... Was the promise to fulfill your friend's wishes?
Either way, it speaks highly of her character.
You are lucky to have known such people.

Nice axe, btw...
It reminds; I need to try out a tremolo Tremonti. I want to see how much a tremolo and scale affect tone; in comparison to what I currently own...pickups too. 😉

@deathworlder,
please apologize my fault. In an earlier post elsewhere in this forum, I had mentioned her words at the funeral.
It was a more or less military funeral. I was kindly ask to write the speech manuscript for our commanding officer (full colonel) and to walk with him his last path. I did so. I walked with him and placed the urn in the ground.
After his family (his partner, mother, siblings, nice), his civilian friends and former colleagues, and we his military community did our individual farewell at his grave, she came to me, said thank you and added, the she wants me to have his electric guitar. He died one year ago, and we both suffer from the loss and had had no opportunity to meet earlier, but yesterday.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend....
By all accounts, he sounded like an honorable man, who led a honarable life.

As someone who has BTDT; try to keep in contact with the widow.

It means a lot...to everyone.

Again, so sorry for your loss. I touching tribute.

Here's my PRS Cozy Closet Corner.

It's the first time they've all been together as the Cores normally live in their cases, with Fenders on the (stud attached) PRS hangers.
And the OG at the bottom, older than the PRSi ages combined, before PRS(h) made his first guitar.
