I thought it was a joke, but with what could be interpreted as a passive aggressive comment in the very first sentence in the thread, it was hard to know for sure. So, not saying anything you don't already know, but the things people can't see on the internet are the tone of your voice, or the look on your face. Trust me, I learned the hard way. Make a joke and have people offended, people thinking you're a jerk, etc., because they took it seriously, when you were just trying to have fun and make others laugh. Sometimes still I'll throw a smiley face in JUST for those who won't automatically know that I'm joking.
However, your posting style in general does lend itself to some of the blowback you're getting. Look at the very post above this, where you say...
A new guy coming into a group where people don't know him very well and almost constantly calling out the established "group" is not going to lead to you being selected Homecoming Queen. You know this. But you do it often. You are admittedly new to PRS but immediately came in the forum posting about constant problems with SE guitars. MANY here have owned SE guitars for decades without these problems that you continually said were so common. Then it turns out that on SOME models, very recently, and some conditions, there have been a few of these issues. Yet you continued to call out those who said you were wrong, and make condescending remarks like this one I just quoted.
As I said more than once in that thread, "new guy with an issue on his SE who googles it and finds a couple others with the same issue" is NOT the same has having ongoing issues with this or any other problem with them, as you implied. When confronted with years of ownership saying it's not a common issue, never has been, rather than YOU do more research and find out that I was right, and that only a few people on only a specific set of options and only very recently has this been an issue, you instead decided to again call us fanboys who believe what they wanted, rather than the facts.
I've always said "perspective is 90% of reality." You come to a new place and think you know what you're talking about. There are people here who have owned tons of SEs and many for decades and don't know you. They didn't say "you're wrong, your guitar doesn't have issues, it's you!" They said "this is not common and these are not ongoing issues." The way you responded to these people who have owned them for years, and know better, was not the way I would have chosen to respond. Heck, I have an American Silver Sky and it has problems, but it was previously owned and that owner was the source of at least several of them. If I come here and say "My SS has this this and this problem" and the guys here say "that is not common at all. We've owned them since they were released and none of us had this issue," rather than tell them they were fanboys and being offended, I'd feel better that the QC is not bad on these and that my issues A) can be easily fixed and B) were mostly the result of someone messing with it.
Think about the perceived reaction to a new guys posts made to a well established group. Are you trying to fit in, or stir up? And I wouldn't take the time to write all this if I was trying to run you off. But it's pretty easy to tone it down just a little bit, (whether you mean it to be inciting or not) and you'd quickly see your issues go away. Who knows, maybe you don't mean ANY of your posts to create drama. Maybe you just drink too much coffee or are the innocent victim of the age of clickbait and drama creating titles and posts and that's just how you post now. (My personal favorite was the review thread title with "and why it matters" in the title.
) That seems way more like a content creator who came here to gain view of their channel, than someone trying to fit in with a group. But maybe that's just MY perception, but I laughed out loud when I read it. But think about your doubling down on the $200 Squire vs. what many feel is "best in price range" SE guitars that cost 4-5 times as much. Even with fret sprout or another issue, you would be in the minority of people who would consider those guitars of equal quality. And not because we're PRS fanboys.
This is all just my opinion and may not be shared by others.
