How many left-handed players do we have on the board? Let's se your Lefty PRS!

But then again, I do most things back-asswards...

I write with my left hand but am righty at everything else.

My dad just picked up the guitar and he's a lefty. I need to get him a PRS. He would never spend the cash to get one as a lefty.

He said let's see your lefty PRSi. No one cares about you traitors who are lefty and play right handed. Go away! :p

In all seriousness, I am dying for a Custom 24. I only have a Custom 22 so far:

If there was ever going to be a thread that made me sign up, it was probably this one.

First time PRS owner, bought this a month or two ago now.

It's a 1999 Royal Blue Custom 22 with a Wide Thin neck, Rotary, Dragon IIs, hard tail. When I was younger I never thought I'd own a PRS. Now I physically have trouble putting this thing down. If my band played in standard, I'd probably play this guitar only we're drop B so I will eventually need to get a second with an adjustable bridge for a wound G and stuff. I got it second hand for $3000AUD.
Matteo Mist one for $1700 AUD but that line didn't have birds and he has swapped the pickups out. At least he kept the originals I suppose, but it's got gold hardware which is kind of icky to me. If he drops it a fair bit lower I might just have to grab it but I'm probably better just waiting for a C24 with the 5 way blade and the 24 frets etc. I hate the fact that the new C24s all have the wider necks, I adore this wide thin, it's so Stratty.

I'll eventually get my hands on one of those McCarty's as well, I reckon. Don't know how yet, but I will.

My dream PRS was pretty much this royal blue one, it's perfect for me, but now I'm in fantasy land I'd like a private stock LH HBII. That would probably cost a fortune. I highly doubt PRS will ever do a production run of them but my goodness I love the HBIIs so much.

And while I'm rolling, here's a couple I shouldn't be looking at longingly. Bear in mind these are in Australia which for me is kind of handy.

Here's one from the US, Eriza Verde C24.

I'm not a lefty, but I periodically think of getting a left handed guitar just for a change of pace, and to see if I can make my hands switch jobs.

My father started playing and he's a lefty. He is always on the Jerry's Lefty Guitars site. Which I find funny cause his name is Jerry. So, when I visit I'll play his guitar as right handed upside down. Always good fun. It opens up a lot of new territory quickly as it seems to make me think differently in my approach. I've considered a lefty to toy with at home.

Me too. Back in 'dem olden times, there weren't too many lefty options, plus, it just felt right giving the left hand the hard job. :iamconfused: Erm, you know what I mean.
