Where is that speedo pic
Our band played its final show saturday night and it was a total blast, tons of people I hadn't seen in a long while came out to see us off. We had past members get up and play as well so that was an added bonus. A couple of the guys from the band I'm joining showed up to check us out which I thought was cool.
We were a band for 12 years with myself and the singer being original members. In the course of the 12 years we went through 4 drummers, 3 bass players and 3 sound guys.
I got a chance to really try out the CE22 and my McCarty with the newly installed 5909 bridge. The McCarty is a hit for sure, with the 5909 reminding me of a LP a buddy of mine had some years ago. It has really changed the way I feel about that guitar, vintage LP tone, easy to reach frets AND it stays in tune! I will most likely try to find a 5909 squabbin neck to put in it too.
My CE22 just flat out kills. It has become my favorite. I still dislike the rotary switch but after installing phase II tuners I won't make any more changes to it.
Out with the old in with the new. I have rehearsal with new band saturday so I best get to crackin, got a lot of material to learn
