Larson is king

All hail Gary Larson! I just bought the paperback version of the Complete Far Side.

This one didn't run in papers, for obvious reasons, but god help me, I love it.

Outstanding! Have a bunch of his books that I haven't touched in way too long... Need to dig those out soon.
Close runner ups = Calvin and Hobbs, and Matt Groening's pre-Simpson's work known as "Life is Hell", which is just awesome! Have a few of those in the library also...

For me, it's Far Side, Bloom County and its offshoots, Calvin & Hobbes (although I was a late-comer there), and Dilbert. I read Peanuts every day, but that was from the previous generation. From the newer stuff, I love Baby Blues, Zits, and especially Non Sequitur, Pearls Before Swine and Lio. And I recently picked up all the collections for Liberty Meadows, which was too short-lived for my tastes.

Cat lovers hated this. I almost choked when I saw it...

I used to use a version of this as my e-mail auto-response when I had training - until I worked for a company with no sense of humor.
