KT77s in archon 25w combo

Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to use jj KT77s in my archon 25w combo amp. I believe the KT77s draw more wattage than the 6l6s, so I was wondering if the tubes were interchangeable.

Thank you. I'm not sure if my Archon has 5881's or 6l6's yet, and i'm not in town to check. I guess I can only swap in KT77s if they are 6l6GLCs, otherwise I can't. Thank you!

The 25W is 5881. I would suggest that the amp is not designed for the 6L6 or KT77. Not sure if they would work, or if they could cause damage.

I have the 25W and it came with 6L6s. Your safest bet would be this.^^^

Ok thank you. It appears that the older models of the archon 25 used KTT7's, while the newer ones use 6L6's. In that regard, once i'm back in town i'll have to check.
