Korina McCarty to replace a Gibson R0 Les Paul...

Very nice indeed! She's on its way!, the R0 was a 2016, killer guitar just wasn't my thing anymore, I rather have a great sounding workhorse than an expensive museum piece, hehe.
Nice. Although an R0 would be a great sounding workhorse for me lol

Well, she got here yesterday!, sorry for the late post, but since I work as a Professional Photographer I wasn't just gonna snap this one with the phone, she deserved better!, anyway, the guitar sounds amazing and surprisingly it is exactly what I wanted tone wise, she's gorgeous too!, here she is:

Aw... amazing. You really not helping my GAS

Sweet! Very pretty indeed, and those are indeed highly sought after.
I have kind of a thing for korina guitars and own six, ranging from an '82 Moderne to an all-black-limba McNaught.
A trans red '07 korina/Braz in is one my favorite PRSs.

OK, so now I'm really curious here--I see a fair amount of '07 all-korina McCarty's, almost all of which are labelled as "Brazilian rosewood fretboard." Well, my all-korina McCarty with an '07 date on the headstock was never indicated as such when I bought it--I didn't care, necessarily--nor does a MODCAT lookup identify it as Brazilian RW, nor is there "for USA only" written on the back of the headstock (which I think didn't start happening 'til after '07 anyway).

So my question is this--is the Brazilian RW on the 2007 all-korina McCarty's just a given/assumption (was automatically on all of them) or would there be something specifically indicating it?

I thought it was a limited run. Especially associated with the natural finish guitar as the one in this thread. My korina 07 is not part of that run, but a special order, and has a beautiful dark indian rosewood fretboard. However, no Brazilian RW

You may be the only person who understands this, but don't you wish at times that modern digital cameras had a bit of tilt and swing to them?
