I love korina guitars and have a fair nunber of them. Korina has a sort of punchy snap to its tone, yet korina necks have a lively elastic feel like mahogany - not stiff like most maple. For my tastes it's a wonderful combination

I can't take credit for the pics, though. They're dealer photos from when the guitar was for sale. I don't know what year yours is - mine was built in 2010, but because of CITES regulations the entire batch of them languished in a warehouse until the legal complications could be untangled. It was finally sold in 2015 as NOS. Great guitar.
