Knobs

I love the faceted knobs, and want to replace the ones on my SC HB Std, which are the old speed knob-style. I just put a set of rosewood knobs on my Mira (to match the new-ish rosewood pickguard and TRC), but the omes I pulled off the Mira are clear. The HB has amber knobs. What are your thoughts on clear knobs on a vintage mahogany body? I'm not sure I like it.

I agree. Clear knobs just not for that guitar. But thats just my opinion

I hate to walk the fence but I think either would work well on that particular guitar.

If it were mine I'd try the clear 1st. If they don't work, it's an easy fix to go amber.

Thanks for the input. If I can figure out where I put the clear lampshades, I'll switch 'em out and post a pic.

When I got my 513, that was the only production guitar with the lampshades. I've loved them from the first turn

I know of a palce where you could put some clear lampshades.:biggrin:

Seriously though, I think those are the coolest knobs that ever existed.
