I have a SE 245 Standard in Tobacco Burst. I love the guitar but would like to switch out the knobs to change up the look just a bit. Does anyone have a suggestion for both a source for compatible knobs and for a knob that would look good with that finish?

Thanks in advance for info and suggestions!

Lampshades for the win!

Mine has the amber lampshades now. I was hoping to find something else but the clear and black ones don't really do much for me either . I was hoping there would be a little more variety available but so far, those appear to be the only two choices.

There's hundreds of choices out there.. I was keeping with PRS options. I have the amber on my gold top SC58 and I think they look great.

I have these on my tobacco burst les paul and they look killer. The cream numbers set them apart from the ones on my SG.

so...........is it safe to assume knobs with 20 splines will 'probably' fit a SE 245??? A lot of the knobs I've found don't specifically identify PRS guitars in their description and many don't give a 'spline count', they just reference Asian, Indonesian, etc.

They don't all technically fit out the box per se but typically you can spread the split shafts a little or I've even used Teflon tape to wrap the splines before. It's not usually an issue for me cause I usually swap pots on my imports.
